Produced from old vines and kept 1 year in oak casks, this is the most ambitious wine from the estate.

A noise of white peach and apricot, and opulent and well-balanced mouth, well-integrated woodiness and a fine mineral finish.

Any resemblance to a "Cuvée Silex" from a reputed estate could be forgiven... 

The old vines (between 50 and 100 years old) produce an incredibly dense wine, almost tannic, but with an extraordinary freshness.
