Thanks to the height and exposure of the vineyard, Cocalières wines avoid the heat trap of the vintage with aromas of fresh red fruit, spices and scrubland, which explode in a dense, smooth and remarkably balanced mouth.

This vintage combines the qualities of the two terroirs on the estate: the freshness of Cocalières and the power of Aupilhac.

The result is a sophisticated wine with notes of black cherries and spices.

The well-structured mouth has fine tannins that make it very flavoursome.

Grown on the oldest vines on the estate, this Clos impresses thanks to the concentration that emerges from a mouth of strong stewed fruit and spices and a finish with imposing but disciplined tannins.
