Very soon to be classed as a Premier Cru, this vintage comes from a plot fully facing south at an altitude of 400 m above sea level.

It achieves the right blend of rich substance and a striking minerality.

The plot is north-facing.

This was a real boost in 2016, because it gives this wine a remarkable minerality, a very pure aromatic expression and a tautness at the finish that makes it more elegant.

A fully south-facing plot, giving this future Premier Cru greater ripeness, perfectly balanced by the liveliness of the vintage.

The result is a nose of very ripe fruit, an opulent but slightly contained palate and a long finish that expresses its potential.

The Chardonnay grape expresses all its usual characteristics in this wine: floral notes in the nose and an aromatic freshness in the mouth, plus flavours of citrus and passion fruit.

Aromas of red fruit invade the nose and the palate.

These are then replicated in a crisp, juicy mouth with rounded tannins.

This Juliénas is reallly appealing thanks to its clear red colour, delicate notes of red fruit in the nose and a full mouth with fine, elegant tannins.

Excellent value for money.

This Cru from a granite-shale plot has a fine varietal character: a nose of very ripe red fruit and fresh plums, followed by a round and meaty mouth with silky tannins at the finish.

A subsoil of granite sand produces this delicate - almost feminine - and supple, fruity Chénas, with a really soft finish.

Under a crimson colour, you discover floral notes in the nose and then a juicy, tender mouth with flavours of very ripe red and dark fruit.

A small 28-hectare plot with very pebbly soil gives rise to this sensual Saint-Amour that combines voluptuous fruit and a roundness full of charm.

A rather unusual manganese subsoil allows this Cru to express fine aromas of flowers, spices and ripe fruit in the nose before revealing a harmonious mouth with rounded tannins.

A combination of very old vines, a legendary vintage and cask ageing can only lead to a great, rich and powerful Beaujolais, with flavours of kirsch and liquorice.

Good cellaring potential.
